Independence is great, but when it comes to matters of the heart and the libido, it’s just not “what’s going on” – or “whaa-a-gwaan,” as Lovina would say. Welcome to the world of Mo’ Love! Lovina is a mature West Indian woman who loves the quiet order of her not-so-perfect world. Monique’s an aspiring clothing designer, a millennial African-Canadian girl who loves to party and bring the boys home with her. What could these two women possibly have in common? This 21st-century odd couple will come to discover that many of the ideas they have about their lives are just not “whaa-a-gwaan.” Together, despite their different points of view, they’ll find out that a little interdependence makes the sticky and sometimes painful realities of life a lot easier to handle. There’ll be much laughter, much drama and conflict, but at the end of the day there’ll always be Mo’ Love.
