The feedback given has been extremely helpful but as also been motivation to keep moving forward in my career. The excellent choice of helpful mentors and the feedback from the professionals after my pitch was much needed. I was especially grateful for the feedback given on my script by the story editor- script writing can be such a solitary process – her professional feedback was a gift. I hope the program continues to move forward from strength to strength
The CTi Market Incubator Program was a great step for me in developing my skills as a producer. The intensity of going through all the steps of development that are easy to bypass to get to the creative elements of production was time well spent. The in-person mentorship we received was simply invaluable.
Participating in the 2016 CaribbeanTales Incubator was an overwhelmingly positive experience. The combined feedback from incubator mentors help me hone in on the need to figure out my character’s “want,” which drastically improved my project’s story potential as well as my pitch. My biggest takeaway from the program is a heightened sense of responsibility in light of viewing my career goals within the larger context of building the Caribbean’s film and television industry.
